Welcome to the Tin Questions podcast page! In 1851, Frederick Scott Archer released the wetplate collodion process to the world enabling photographers with the ability to create ambrotypes and tintypes. A hundred years later, the process was almost relegated to the dustbin of history until a recent resurgence of creative photographers came along.

Modern day practitioners of the process are the centerstage of this podcast hosted by Chad Shryock (Porkpie Photography). Each episode will talk one on one with with a variety of collodion artists, where we discuss their experiences, inspirations, gear selection and what their next big project is.
